Writer-Director and Cinematographer Bobby Webster was born in
Tehran. Following the revolution his family left Iran, settling
eventually in London, where he has lived most of his life.
A world champion debater, Bobby worked for several years at leading
UK think tank Demos prior to becoming a film-maker. He is also
a former actor, with UK screen credits alongside Sir John Gielgud,
Miranda Richardson and Emily Mortimer.
In addition to writing and directing his own projects, in the
last year he has been Director of Photography on eight short films,
as well as editing the award-winning short film You Should
Have The Body. Most recently, his feature screenplay The
Andy Macintosh Equation was one of three finalists for the
2007 Sloan Foundation feature-writing competition.
Bobby has been based in Brooklyn since 2004. He is currently
developing a number of narrative short- and feature-length projects.
